Recent renders give us a clearer view of the repositioned Apple logo and the updated MagSafe magnet array found on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Several anticipated design modifications for the iPhone 17 Pro have been circulating for a while. Notably, it will feature an extended camera bump that stretches across the entire width of the device, with the LiDAR Scanner and flash shifting to the right side.
The device is expected to adopt an aluminum frame that incorporates this new camera bump design, akin to the iPad Pro. A slot will be included in the aluminum frame beneath the camera bump to facilitate wireless charging with a glass panel.
Recent information indicates that the Apple logo will likely be moved to a central location on this glass panel, resulting in a lower appearance compared to its previous position on the device.
This adjustment affects the look of MagSafe accessories, as the magnetic ring on clear cases will cover the newly positioned Apple logo. To address this, Apple is reportedly planning to modify the unique MagSafe magnet array, introducing a break in the circle to allow the logo to be visible.
The latest renderings from the leaker known as “Majin Bu” showcase both the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max within clear cases, illustrating how Apple intends to adjust the MagSafe magnet design to prominently display the relocated logo in its new, centered position.
The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are anticipated to launch this fall, featuring enhancements such as a 48-megapixel telephoto camera, a 24-megapixel front-facing camera, and the A19 Pro chip.
