As Season 7 of “Love Island USA” approaches its conclusion, only four couples remain in the villa.
The highly anticipated Family Day segment allowed the remaining islanders to reconnect with their family members in the villa. Here, contestants heard their families’ thoughts on their partners, the competition, and the decisions made throughout the season.
After bidding farewell to their families, the islanders received a notification about a Thanksgiving-style dinner. Sitting together, they reminisced about their experiences in the villa and shared their anxieties as they neared the finale.
At the dinner, they learned that America had been voting for their favorite couple to proceed to the finale. The couple with the least votes would be eliminated.
Plates were served to indicate who would go home. Amaya Espinal with Bryan Arenales; Huda Mustafa with Chris Seeley; and Olandria Carthen with Nic Vansteenberghe each received notes saying, “Congratulations, you’ve made it to the finale.” Unfortunately, the final two couples, Chelley Bissainthe with Ace Greene and Iris Kendall with Jose “Pepe” Garcia-Gonzalez, had the fewest votes from the audience.
In the closing moments, the plates for the lowest-ranked couples were revealed. While Kendall and Garcia-Gonzales found a card of congratulations, Bissainthe and Greene were informed their journey had ended.
Following their departure, Bissainthe and Greene spoke with Variety about their experiences, dating life outside the villa, and predictions for the winners.
