Caesars Republic Sonoma County Coming in 2027
Caesars Entertainment is rebranding the River Rock Casino in Geyserville, transforming it into Caesars Republic Sonoma County, set to debut in the summer of 2027.
The announcement was made during a groundbreaking ceremony on August 2, where the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians selected Caesars Entertainment as its development partner for the integrated resort project.
Dayna Calkins from Caesars Entertainment stated that Caesars Republic represents a unique brand tailored to each location, with Sonoma County becoming the third such destination, following Scottsdale and Lake Tahoe.
The River Rock project is estimated to cost $300 million, significantly transforming the current site, which consists mainly of a tent structure housing gaming and dining options. The new establishment will remain open during construction.
Anthony Carano, president and COO of Caesars Entertainment, emphasized the exciting expansion of the Caesars Republic brand, particularly after the successful opening in Lake Tahoe. The site will also incorporate aspects of Sonoma County’s natural beauty.
In the words of Chris Wright, chairman of the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo, this partnership signifies a transformative step for both the Tribe and the community, aiming to create a world-class resort with premier amenities.
