REGULAR-SEASON FINALE
The LIV Golf Indianapolis event will finalize the league’s season-long competitions and impact individual player standings.
INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Torque GC Captain Joaquin Niemann holds a 12.27-point lead over Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm as they vie for the league’s top individual accolade. Rahm, the defending champion, needs to place 7th or higher to have a shot at surpassing Niemann, who has a 58.7% chance of victory per LIV Golf data analysts. Both players are assured of a top-two finish in the final standings. (Click here for scenarios)
THIRD PLACE
The contest for the last bonus-paying position in the Individual Championship is intense among four players. Crushers GC Captain Bryson DeChambeau boasts a solid lead over his rivals — Dean Burmester from Stinger GC, Talor Gooch from Smash GC, and Patrick Reed from 4Aces GC. DeChambeau has a 96.2% likelihood of securing third place, marking his best season-long finish in LIV Golf if successful.
LOCK ZONE
The top 24 players in season-long points are guaranteed full-time status for the 2026 LIV Golf season. Analysts report that 17 players are already secure, with four more having over an 86% chance of maintaining their positions. The players in the most precarious standings are Phil Mickelson (22nd), Anirban Lahiri (23rd), and Richard Bland (24th). Richard Bland from Cleeks Golf Club, Cameron Tringale from HyFlyers GC, and Jinichiro Kozuma from Iron Heads GC are among those looking to break into the Top 24.
RELEGATION
This is the crucial round for players to avoid falling into the Drop Zone (49th or worse), which would lead to relegation. All three co-captains from Majesticks GC face this risk. Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson stand at 47th and 48th, while Ian Poulter is at 52nd with a mere 6.4% chance to avoid being relegated. Mito Pereira and Andy Ogletree are also in jeopardy, along with full-time players Yubin Jang, Frederik Kjettrup, and Anthony Kim.
TEAM SEEDS
The seedings for the upcoming Michigan Team Championship will be determined after the Indianapolis event. Legion XIII has already secured the top seed, while Crushers GC and Fireballs GC are in a tight contest for second place. Torque GC is working to fend off a challenge from 4Aces, with Ripper GC and Stinger GC still in the running for a possible fourth-place finish. The highest seeds will choose their opponents for the quarterfinals next week.
TROPHY SWEEPS
Stinger GC achieved a trophy sweep at LIV Golf Chicago, marking the 16th occurrence in league history and the fourth this season.
MULTIPLE WINNERS
Dean Burmester has now become the ninth player to claim multiple tournament victories within LIV Golf.
