While half the team is confirmed, the other half remains uncertain. Several candidates have strong credentials, including Bradley, who could become the first playing captain since Arnold Palmer, should he select himself as one of the captain’s picks.
Bradley’s choices will significantly influence the team’s structure and the number of available spots. He faces crucial decisions: Should he prioritize experience by choosing players like Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Brian Harman, Patrick Cantlay, and Sam Burns, all of whom were part of the 2023 losing team? Or should he bring in fresh talent with possible rookie picks like Ben Griffin, Maverick McNealy, and Cameron Young?
The potential for unexpected selections also looms as the deadline approaches. CBS Sports is analyzing who Bradley should select to represent the U.S. at Bethpage Black, where they currently enter as slight favorites at -130, according to DraftKings.
