Emma Raducanu and Cameron Norrie are set to compete again at Flushing Meadows on Wednesday, aiming to advance to the third round of the US Open.
Raducanu will play against Indonesia’s Janice Tjen on Louis Armstrong Stadium at around 4 PM (BST), while Norrie faces Francisco Comesan in the second match on Court 5.
British tennis supporters are looking for a much-needed boost after a disheartening day, which saw Katie Boulter, Billy Harris, Francesca Jones, and Sonay Kartal get eliminated in the first round.
In other matches, four-time US Open champion Novak Djokovic will kick off the action on Arthur Ashe Stadium against Zachary Svajda, followed by 2022 winner Carlos Alcaraz taking on Mattia Bellucci in the evening session.
Jack Draper is scheduled to compete against Zizou Bergs from Belgium in the second round on Thursday.
