Lando Norris (2nd): “We lacked the pace to contend today—one of the few weekends this year where we didn’t have the speed to win. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable race, and I gave it my all. I had a solid battle at the start, especially with Max [Verstappen], but he ultimately prevailed, and they earned their victory this weekend. Second place was the best we could achieve.”
Oscar Piastri (3rd): “Today was more challenging for us. There were several lessons to take away from both the early and latter parts of the race. This track is quite unique, so there are aspects we can improve for next year and for other low downforce circuits later in 2025. Regarding our position swap, it was a fair decision, but we have discussions to have about such racing situations. Now we must refocus for Baku.”
Andrea Stella, Team Principal: “The Italian Grand Prix was a tightly contested race that hinged on car pace at Monza. We noted this in Qualifying, and without degradation benefits for our team in the race’s initial stint, winning became a challenge. Oscar demonstrated our team’s values by giving the position back to Lando before they were allowed to race again. Overall, P2 and P3 isn’t a bad result at a track that posed challenges for our car, adding important points in both Championships. Thank you to our team in Woking and trackside for their continued effort this season.”

Charles Leclerc (4th): “I did my best to maintain P3 after my early overtake, but I struggled with tyre overheating and couldn’t keep Oscar behind. While we couldn’t find the pace to fight for the win today, we maximized our result. Monza is always significant for us, and the support from our tifosi inspires us. We’ll strive to top the podium next year.”
Frédéric Vasseur, Team Principal: “Our goal was to have Charles on the podium, but it slipped away. He had a strong start but overworked his tyres early on. We were only four seconds behind the McLarens, with Max in a league of his own. Lewis had a solid first stint despite starting further back due to a penalty; he performed well. While we couldn’t deliver a better outcome for our tifosi, we appreciate their incredible support.”

Max Verstappen (1st): “Winning again has been amazing—it’s been a while! We brought an upgrade here that worked, giving us an advantage on low to medium downforce tracks. After my overtake, I focused on hitting my targets and preserving tyres, which paid off in extending the gap to the McLarens. This victory showcases our potential for future wins.”
Yuki Tsunoda (13th): “I had a great start, but an incident damaged my car’s floor, affecting my pace. Despite this frustration, we have shown improvement race by race. While I’m disappointed, I’ll focus on the positives, like my qualifying lap performance. Congratulations to Max and the team on the win—it’s been a while since we finished in P1.”
