Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course 2026 Racing Season Announcement
LEXINGTON – Next summer marks the 65th season of racing at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, kicking off with five major spectator events in early June.
The schedule for 2026 will prominently feature the traditional NTT INDYCAR SERIES race weekend alongside IMSA sports car racing, culminating in back-to-back motorcycle race weekends with AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days and the MotoAmerica Superbikes at Mid-Ohio.
“We are thrilled to offer a diverse range of racing events at Mid-Ohio and eagerly anticipate celebrating our 65th anniversary with our fans,” stated Craig Rust, president of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
IMSA sports car racing will commence the summer activities with the O’Reilly Auto Parts Four Hours of Mid-Ohio, taking place from June 5-7. The weekend will include a four-hour Michelin Pilot Challenge endurance race and additional events from VP Racing SportsCar Challenge and the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup.
Returning as part of this weekend is the IMSA Ford Mustang Challenge, adding to the excitement for 2026. The Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio will run from June 12-14 for its 44th edition, maintaining its status as the longest-running spectator event at the track.
Two car shows will occur that weekend: the British Car Showdown on Saturday, June 13, and the Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, June 14. The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio featuring the NTT INDYCAR SERIES will continue its Fourth of July tradition from July 3-5, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Switching to motorcycles, the much-anticipated AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days returns for its 30th year from July 24-26, bringing racing, bike shows, and North America’s largest motorcycle swap meet. Immediately following will be the MotoAmerica Superbikes at Mid-Ohio from July 31 to August 2, featuring 10 races across five classes.

The full lineup of events is as follows:
- June 5-7: O’Reilly Auto Parts Four Hours of Mid-Ohio (IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge)
- June 12-14: Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio (SpeedTour / Sportscar Vintage Racing Association)
- July 3-5: The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio (NTT INDYCAR SERIES)
- July 24-26: AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days (AMA’s annual celebration)
- July 31 – August 2: MotoAmerica Superbikes at Mid-Ohio (multiple MotoAmerica classes)
Returning pass holders from 2025 will have the first chance to renew their passes for the 2026 season at a discounted rate before general sales begin. Additionally, pass holders who booked RV spaces will also be given the option to renew early.
In addition to these major events, over 20 club weekend racing events are scheduled from April to October 2026. Mid-Ohio Season Race Passholders will enjoy complimentary admission to these events, while the public can access select weekends for a nominal fee. Children aged 12 and under receive free general admission when accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
