Complete Week 7 wide receiver rankings
Byes: Bills, Ravens
Start of the Week
Davante Adams at Jaguars (9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network): With Puka Nacua sidelined this week, Adams becomes a must-start player. Despite a recent low score of 7.9 points, increased targets and a favorable matchup against the Jaguars, who allow the highest points per game to perimeter receivers, indicate potential for a bounce-back week.
Recommended Starting Options
Rashee Rice vs. Raiders (1 p.m. ET, CBS): After serving his suspension, Rice should be reinstated into lineups. In his previous games against Las Vegas, he has boasted an average of 18.2 points. The Raiders have also allowed significant points to perimeter receivers, enhancing Rice’s prospects for a strong return.
Ladd McConkey vs. Colts (4:05 p.m. ET, CBS): Following a standout performance last week with seven catches for 23 fantasy points, McConkey remains a solid start. He’s scored 37.9 points over his last two games and goes up against a Colts team that has conceded the sixth-most points to slot receivers.
Players to Avoid
Michael Pittman Jr. at Chargers (4:05 p.m. ET, CBS): Pittman Jr. recently had his worst game, scoring just four fantasy points. Facing a Chargers defense that has restricted wideouts to minimal points, he may not be a reliable start this week, as they have allowed few touchdowns to receivers this season.
Devonta Smith at Vikings (1 p.m. ET, Fox): Smith has struggled for consistency, posting single-digit scores in four of six games. This week’s matchup against a Vikings team known for limiting wide receiver scoring makes him a risky choice.
Wan’Dale Robinson at Broncos (4:05 p.m. ET, CBS): After a breakout game against the Eagles, Robinson faces a tougher challenge in Denver. The Broncos have allowed the fewest points per game to wide receivers, putting Robinson in a challenging position.
