The WTA Finals have finally arrived.
This event marks the climax of the 2025 season, taking place in Riyadh, where the top eight singles players and doubles teams compete in a round-robin format.
To explain the tournament’s structure: The eight singles players are divided into two groups of four. During the group stage, each player competes in three matches against the other players in their group.
Winning a match in the round-robin earns three points. If players end up with the same points after the group stage, the head-to-head results will determine who advances. In cases of a three-way tie, the outcome will be decided based on matches played, total sets won, and total games won.
The top two players from each group will move on to the semifinals, where group winners face the second-placed players from the opposing group. The semifinals and finals are single-elimination rounds.
