With the end of the year approaching, the USTA League Year-End NTRP ratings are set to be released on December 2. Players can check their classification for the upcoming 2026 USTA Adult League season. The new ratings will take effect on January 1, 2026, but those who get a double bump—advancing two levels—must start playing at their new rating immediately.
The NTRP Dynamic Ratings System, utilized by USTA National, is applicable to all players across the U.S. In the Florida Section, ratings are determined from participation in various USTA Adult Leagues, including the 18 & Over, 40 & Over, 55 & Over, 65 & Over, Mixed 18 & Over, Mixed 40 & Over, Combo 18 & Over, Combo 50 & Over, and Tri-Level divisions. Additionally, Adult 18-39 and Adult NTRP Tournaments will also factor into the Year-End ratings for the 2025 championship year.
NTRP Ratings are calculated based on match outcomes over the past 12 months, with recent and championship matches having a greater influence on a player’s rating. The Year-End rating determines eligibility for USTA Leagues and Tournaments in 2026. Validity for Year-End ratings spans up to three years for players aged 59 and below and up to two years for those over 60, or until a new rating is computed.
