Reflecting on the 2026 Season
As we approach the conclusion of the regular season in 2026, it’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown since training camp began. Currently, we hold a 9-6-1 record and have secured our place in the playoffs, with one divisional game remaining.
Proud of Our Team’s Resilience
Adversity is a constant in the NFL, and I am genuinely proud of how our team has navigated numerous obstacles. After facing struggles within our division last season, we’ve improved significantly to a 4-1 record this year. Despite injuries and a tough schedule, we remain focused on our ultimate goal: winning a Super Bowl championship.
Appreciating Our Fans
As we gear up for our final regular-season game and prepare for the playoffs, I want to express my gratitude to our fans for their unwavering support. Your energy, both at home and on the road, has made this season remarkable. Interest in the NFL is at an all-time high, demonstrated by record TV ratings, and I appreciate your enthusiasm.
New Year Greetings
Happy New Year! I want to thank everyone for their support this season, and I appreciate those who have followed Policy’s Perspective. Now, let’s address your questions.
Exploring Yooper Influence
Thanks for your question, Dave. There’s much to explore regarding our ties to the U.P., dating back to our origins in 1919. Despite the historical changes, connections to the U.P. remain strong, including coaches and players who have roots there. Although I might not have the ultimate say, we are proud that many Yoopers support the Packers.
Uniform Decisions Explained
Thanks for your insightful question, Josh. Each season, we submit our uniform choices to the NFL once our schedule is set. For away games, our uniforms are determined by the home team’s jersey choice. We decided to try white socks for away games this year to maintain uniformity, ensuring that our uniforms look consistent on the field.
