DOHA, Qatar — The Qatar TotalEnergies Open finals are confirmed as the inaugural 1000-level event on the WTA Tour, sponsored by Mercedes Benz.
Victoria Mboko and Karolina Muchova have successfully progressed through the 56-player draw to compete for the singles championship. Meanwhile, the doubles final will feature the Australian Open finalist duo of Aleksandra Krunic and Anna Danilina facing Brisbane champions Jelena Ostapenko and Hsieh Su-wei.

When are the Qatar TotalEnergies singles and doubles finals?
The doubles final is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. local time (12:30 p.m. GMT, 7:30 a.m. EST) on Saturday, followed by the singles final at approximately 6 p.m. (3 p.m. GMT, 10 a.m. EST). Both matches will be held on Center Court at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex.
The singles final will be played in a best-of-three tiebreak sets format, while the doubles final will comprise two tiebreak sets, with a 10-point match tiebreak if needed.

Ranking Points and Prize Money
A total of USD $4,088,211 was available during the tournament in Doha. The singles champion will earn $665,000, while the finalist will take home $385,001. In doubles, the winning team will receive $195,000, and the runners-up will get $110,010.
The winners of the singles and doubles finals will earn 1,000 ranking points for the PIF WTA Rankings and the Race to the WTA Finals Riyadh, with finalists receiving 650 points.
Mboko vs. Muchova: A Championship Preview
This will mark the first encounter between Mboko and Muchova on the WTA Tour.
Unlike her title run in Montreal, Mboko now aims for a top 10 placement in the rankings after starting 2025 at No. 333. She is making her second final appearance this season, having previously lost in Adelaide.
