Restraining Order Filed Against Puka Nacua
A woman has filed for a restraining order against Puka Nacua, a wide receiver for the Rams. This follows an alleged incident in which Nacua reportedly made an antisemitic remark and later bit her during a New Year’s Eve event in Los Angeles.
Madison Atiabi submitted her request in Los Angeles on Tuesday, claiming that Nacua harassed her on December 31, 2025, and subsequently threatened to damage her reputation in the media.
Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, stated to TMZ that Nacua never made the alleged antisemitic comment, although he did confirm that Nacua bit Atiabi during a playful interaction.
A judge has temporarily denied Atiabi’s request for a restraining order, indicating that more information is needed before any orders can be issued. A hearing is scheduled for April 14.
According to her request, Atiabi first met Nacua during a New Year’s Eve dinner in Century City hosted by him and other Rams team members. She noted she had not been made aware he would be attending.
During the dinner, Atiabi described Nacua’s behavior as “extremely touchy” and claimed he made offensive remarks about Jewish people. She stated that, as a Jewish individual, she was deeply offended and distressed by his words. The situation escalated later that night when Nacua allegedly bit her girlfriend’s thumb and then attacked Atiabi, leaving a visible mark on her shoulder.
Atiabi reported the incident to the Los Angeles Police Department on January 2, and during a mediation conference on March 11, it was claimed that Nacua’s team threatened to share false narratives about her with the media.
Atiabi is requesting a protective order that would keep Nacua at least 50 yards away from her, her home, her workplace, and her vehicle, while also prohibiting him from making false statements to any media outlets.
