The 90th Edition of the Masters Begins
The Masters Tournament has officially commenced with its 90th edition. This morning, golf legends Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, and Tom Watson took the ceremonial first tee shots at Augusta National, marking the start of the first major championship of the season in Georgia.
Spotlight on Rory McIlroy
All eyes are on Rory McIlroy, who made headlines after his historic victory last year, completing the career Grand Slam and earning the coveted green jacket after several attempts. However, McIlroy has only played four times on the PGA Tour this season and was dealing with back issues leading to his withdrawal from the Arnold Palmer Invitational last month.
Returning Favorites
Top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler is also back, recently welcoming his second child. Scheffler has emerged as a betting favorite. The field features 10 members of LIV Golf, including Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm, alongside six amateurs who aim to win the Silver Cup.
