Brooks Koepka recently departed from LIV Golf and sought reinstatement in the PGA Tour. The organization outlined certain penalties he must face, which includes his route into Signature Events. “Playing the waiting game 👀 As first alternate, if Brooks Koepka gets in, Keith Mitchell and Taylor Moore would also gain entry due to the Returning Member Program,” the PGA Tour stated in a post on X.
This means that Koepka’s participation hinges on any last-minute withdrawals, as only a handful of golfers are left to tee off. Moreover, the wait exceeds seven hours, with the RBC Heritage having one of the largest fields for a Signature Event, with no morning or afternoon tee times.
The first group, featuring David Lipsky and Chandler Blanchet, tees off at 7 am local time, leading to a lineup of 41 continuous tee times over the course of 7 hours. Notable players like Max Homa, Scottie Scheffler, and other top talents will play shortly before the last groups.
Consequently, Koepka must wait until all players have teed off to determine if he will have a chance to compete in the RBC Heritage 2026.
