Patch Highlights for Heroes of the Storm

General Updates

• New Mount: Scrapper Mad Axe Mono Wheel

• Unranked mode has been removed.
• Mid-to-late game respawn timers have been shortened. At level 22, respawn timers revert to 65 seconds.
• Homescreen and startup music have been updated.

Map Changes

• Garden of Terror Classic
  • The original version of Garden of Terror is back in Custom Games.
  • Its name has been updated to Garden of Terror Classic to distinguish it from the current version.
• Haunted Mines
  • Haunted Mines is now available in Quick Match!
  • The Mine Golem drops an additional 10 Skulls during its lifespan.
  • The objective is fulfilled when one team collects 55 Skulls instead of all 100.
  • Hero vision has been limited while in the mines.
• Warhead Junction
  • Nuke cast time has been increased from 2.5 to 3 seconds.
  • Damage taken now breaks the Nuke cast.
  • Damage-over-time from Nuke has been doubled.
  • The damage from Nuke to Forts and Keeps has been increased from 100% to 125%.

Arthas

• Arthas has undergone a comprehensive rework! Find all abilities and talents detailed below.

Base Abilities

• Death Coil [Q]
  • Cost: 40 Mana.
  • Cooldown: 9 seconds.
  • Inflicts 164 damage on the target.
  • Can be self-cast to heal 262 Health.
• Howling Blast [W]
  • Cost: 50 Mana.
  • Cooldown: 10 seconds.
  • Roots enemies in the area for 1.25 seconds while dealing 68 damage.
• Frozen Tempest [E]
  • Cost: 13 Mana per second.
  • Cooldown: 1 second.
  • Deals 36 damage per second to nearby enemies while slowing their movement speed by 10% (up to 40%).
• Army of the Dead [R]
  • Charge Cooldown: 18 seconds; summons Ghouls for 15 seconds dealing 20 damage.

Bug Fixes
