- The Boy Meets World star admits he was completely unaware that former co-star Danielle Fishel was standing next to him.
After nine weeks of intense competition on The Masked Singer, the stage was set for the merging of the masks in what they call the Lucky 6.
In this episode, the final six celebrities went head-to-head, inching closer to clinching the coveted Golden Mask Trophy, featuring some masks we hadn’t seen for a while, including Coral and Paparazzo. Additionally, panelists were allowed to fire off some quick questions to each competitor and were also presented with a “colossal clue” regarding each singer’s identity instead of the usual clue package.
The standout “colossal clue” was the physical appearance of Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel on stage alongside Paparazzo.
All performances were highly competitive: Mad Scientist Monster belted out “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” by Shawn Mendes, Nessy performed “Stargazing” by Myles Smith, Coral sang “Ain’t It Fun” by Paramore, Paparazzo chose “Unpretty” by TLC, Pearl energized the crowd with “Conga” by Gloria Estefan, and Boogie Woogie captivated everyone with “Unsteady” by X Ambassadors.
Ultimately, Paparazzo was the one eliminated, sending him back to the red carpet. Panelists made their guesses, which included Ben Savage, Jason Ritter, Frankie Muniz, and Matthew Lawrence (the latter being correct when he was revealed as Paparazzo, known for his roles in classics like Boy Meets World, Brotherly Love, and Mrs. Doubtfire).
As the quarterfinals approach next week, McCarthy-Wahlberg leads in correct guesses, vying for another Golden Ear Trophy. Entertainment Weekly reached out to Lawrence post-elimination to discuss his performance, rivaling his brother Joey on the show, and the experience of remaining anonymous.
