Broncos Sign 15 College Free Agents
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos have bolstered their roster by signing 15 college free agents.
New Additions
The Broncos have added players including Kendall Bohler from Florida A&M, JB Brown from Kansas, Marques Cox from Kentucky, Joaquin Davis from North Carolina Central, Christian Dowell from Tennessee-Martin, Courtney Jackson from Arkansas State, Joe Michalski from Oklahoma State, Jerjuan Newton from Toledo, Joshua Pickett from Duke, Karene Reid from Utah, Jaden Robinson from Oregon State, Xavier Truss from Georgia, Johnny Walker Jr. from Missouri, Clay Webb from Jacksonville State, and Kristian Williams from Missouri, as announced by the team.
Roster Adjustments
To comply with the NFL roster limit, the Broncos also released long snapper Zach Triner and punter Matt Haack.
Player Highlights
Bohler had an impressive final season with 33 tackles, four passes defended, three tackles for loss, and one interception. He earned All-SWAC honors twice during his college career.
Career Achievements
Brown, honored as an All-Big 12 player in 2024, set his career high with 74 tackles and five sacks as a senior. Cox contributed by starting 59 of 61 games over his collegiate journey, including 25 starts at Kentucky.
Season Summaries
Davis secured 67 catches for 920 yards and ten touchdowns in his last two seasons at NC Central. Dowell was recognized as a first-team Big-South-OVC selection, recording 29 tackles and seven quarterback hits in his final year.
Defensive Strength
Walker led Missouri with notable stats including 12.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in 2024. Williams, a team captain, also made an impact with 30 tackles and a sack in his final season with Missouri.
