About the Championship Format
To determine the 30 qualifying teams and six individuals not part of those teams for the finals, six regional tournaments consisting of 54 holes each will be held. Three regionals will feature 13 teams and 10 individuals, while the remaining three will have 14 teams and five individuals. The top five teams and the lowest individual from each group will advance to the finals.
All 30 teams and six individuals will complete 54 holes of stroke play. After 54 holes, the top 15 teams and the top nine individuals not on qualifying teams will proceed for an additional day of stroke play to identify the top eight teams for match play as well as the overall 72-hole stroke-play champion. The eight best teams will be arranged into a bracket thereafter.
In the team match-play phase, five points can be earned, with each individual match contributing one point. Winning teams move on to the semifinals and finals. The first team to secure three points within a match will progress to the next round, and the victorious team in the final will be crowned the national champion.
