Google AI Pro is a rebranding that simplifies the name, dropping the direct “Google One” connection. In the US, this service is priced at $19.99 per month.
Gemini App
Users of the Gemini app now experience “expanded” access compared to “limited” users on the free tier, featuring:
- 2.5 Flash and 2.5 Pro (preview)
- Deep Research
- Audio Overviews
- Spreadsheet and code analysis
The 1 million token context window allows processing up to 1,500 pages of text or 30,000 lines of code. In contrast, free-tier users receive a 32K context window (roughly 50 pages).
Gemini in Google Workspace
The Gemini features will integrate into Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and Chat. Subscribers also gain access to Google Vids, an AI-powered video creation platform designed for various utilizations, including educational and business settings.
Google AI Ultra
Priced at $249.99 monthly in the US, Google AI Ultra is now accessible in over 70 countries. This advanced tier provides increased features including a monthly allowance of 12,500 AI Credits for use in various creative processes and video generations.
Subscribers can purchase additional AI Credits valid for one year, with options such as:
- $25 for 2,500 Credits
- $50 for 5,000 Credits
- $200 for 20,000 Credits
NotebookLM
The NotebookLM tool is getting enhanced capabilities with AI Ultra, promising the highest limits and best performance later in 2025, providing users with more comprehensive research and documentation options.
