Arena Direct: Secrets of Strixhaven Sealed
(May 15–17)
Join us for the upcoming Arena Direct this weekend! Compete in Best-of-One Secrets of Strixhaven Sealed. Players achieving three to five wins will receive gems and MTG Arena packs, while those with six or more wins can win Secrets of Strixhaven Play Booster boxes, while stocks last!

MTG Arena Creator VS Series is Back!
The Creator VS Series in MTG Arena made its triumphant return this past weekend! Top MTG Arena creators, each representing a different Strixhaven college, showcased their decks in Standard matches. Lua Stardust brought the research prowess of Lorehold to the forefront, Tori of the Vast passionately represented Silverquill, Maldhound unleashed the creativity of Prismari, and ZMainCharacter highlighted Witherbloom’s unique magic.
These creators fought for their colleges’ supremacy over four matches of Magic, which can be viewed here.
Upcoming Arena Championship Qualifier Events
The May Best-of-One Qualifier Play-In has concluded, but the Best-of-Three Play-In and Qualifier Weekend are coming soon! Winning a Qualifier Play-In grants entry into the Qualifier Weekend, which serves as a stepping stone to the next Arena Championship!
Mark your calendar for May 15 for the Best-of-Three Play-In, followed by Qualifier Weekend on May 16–17, featuring Secrets of Strixhaven Sealed. Full event details are available here.

Premier Play
Qualifier Play-In events are single-day tournaments where players compete for invitations to the monthly Qualifier Weekend.
Qualifier Weekend events span two days, allowing eligible players to vie for spots in upcoming Arena Championship events.
Qualifier tokens earned from Seasonal Rewards can be found in your MTG Arena inbox. Be sure to claim them before the events!

June Qualifier Format: Standard
- June 6: Best-of-One Qualifier
- June 7: Best-of-One Sealed Bonus Play-In

May Season Rewards
Players will receive their rewards for the May 2026 season at the beginning of the June 2026 ranked season (12:05 p.m. PT on May 31).
To qualify for seasonal rewards, players must have played at least one ranked match in the respective format.
- Bronze Reward: 1 Secrets of Strixhaven pack
- Silver Reward: 1 Secrets of Strixhaven pack + 500 gold
- Gold Reward: 2 Secrets of Strixhaven packs + 1,000 gold + Impractical Joke card style
- Platinum Reward: 3 Secrets of Strixhaven packs + 1,000 gold + Impractical Joke and Exhibition Tidecaller card styles
- Diamond Reward: 4 Secrets of Strixhaven packs + 1,000 gold + Impractical Joke and Exhibition Tidecaller card styles
- Mythic Reward: 5 Secrets of Strixhaven packs + 1,000 gold + Impractical Joke and Exhibition Tidecaller card styles
