DAZN Schedule
11:00 AM ET: Prelims for Allen vs Hrgovic. Streaming available on YouTube, as usual.
12:30 PM ET: Granit Stein vs Diego Carmona. This match will take place in Ingolstadt, Germany, featuring super middleweights. Stein (20-1-1, 11 KO) is currently ranked #138 on BoxRec due to a lack of notable wins and a significant loss in New York to an 8-7-3 fighter. He turned pro in 2014. Carmona (14-3, 11 KO) is ranked #189 as his record is also underwhelming, having previously lost a decision in Germany to Serkay Comert in 2024. His only win outside Mexico came in Panama in 2022.
Dave Allen vs Filip Hrgovic
(DAZN, 1:00 PM ET)
Live results and updates will be provided by BLH
This match is set to take place in Doncaster, England, at Eco-Power Stadium, formerly known as Keepmoat Stadium. This smaller venue, home to Doncaster Rovers FC, can seat just over 15,000, and currently, the team sits 14th in the League One table.
Despite some interesting details, the fight itself may not be compelling. Hrgovic (19-1, 14 KO) is a credible top 10 contender, whereas Allen (25-8-2, 20 KO) has consistently shown he is not at that level. Allen himself acknowledges his status as a good domestic-level fighter.
While Allen is well-liked and has a solid fanbase, there seems to be little intrigue for his supporters to watch him face Hrgovic, especially with the expectation of another loss. That said, boxing can yield surprising outcomes, and perhaps Allen will deliver the best performance of his career at age 34.
Undercard:
Louie O’Doherty vs Ahmed Hatim for the British and Commonwealth lightweight titles,
Michael Gomez Jr vs Lee McGregor, which promises action,
and Maxi Hughes vs Lewis Sylvester, as Hughes aims to rebound after a tough outing against Pierce O’Leary earlier this year.
6:30 PM ET: Prelims for Keyshawn vs Albright 2. Notably, Keyshawn has adopted a single-name identity, similar to Canelo or Shakur, enhancing his marketability by simplifying his branding.
Keyshawn Davis vs Nahir Albright 2
(DAZN, 8:00 PM ET)
Live results and updates will be available from BLH
This matchup takes place at the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia, a venue with a notable history. This marks the first Top Rank event under their new DAZN partnership following a split with ESPN after almost a year of exploring other options.
This rematch comes after Keyshawn initially won a majority decision in 2023, which was later altered to a no-contest following a failed drug test. Albright previously fought Keyshawn’s brother, Kelvin, leading to some backstage drama. Albright drew with Frank Martin in his last fight in February.
Albright is a legitimate fighter who hasn’t had the typical promotional backing, but he possesses solid boxing skills. Keyshawn, showcasing his potential, performed impressively against Jamaine Ortiz in January after a brief hiatus from the sport.
Undercard: While not star-studded, it features some recognizable names like former welterweight titleholder Brian Norman Jr. against Josh Wagner, Kelvin Davis facing Peter Dobson, and Keon Davis in a six-round match at 154 pounds against Edwine Humaine Junior.
