The Detroit Pistons are set to kick off their playoff season on Sunday, bringing exciting new food offerings to basketball fans at Little Caesars Arena. This includes delights like Korean corn dogs and seasoned fries, along with creations from a local food influencer.
The Detroit Pistons, in collaboration with Delaware North Sportservice, unveiled innovative food items and exclusive playoff merchandise on April 15. These additions are inspired by the local flavors of Detroit.
New Food and Beverage Options
Guests will find an “elevated selection of limited-time food and beverage offerings” throughout the arena. These new choices enhance the existing vendors, such as Mike’s Pizza Bar and the Mixing Board.
Local Influence on Menu
For the first time, Delaware North Sportservice partnered with local influencer Eric Hambleton, known as Eric Loves Cooking. Hambleton developed two beefy dishes, a smash burger and a deli steak sandwich, which will be available at the new Detroit Street Lab in Portal 28.
Highlights of the Menu
Hambleton expressed excitement about seeing his dishes served at the arena. His Motor City Crisp pays homage to Detroit-style pizza with unique ingredients while the Deli Steak Sandwich features a tender tri-tip.
Specialty Items Across the Arena
Food options across the arena include seasoned “All The Time Fries” at The Coop, “Full Court Press Sundae” served in a souvenir sneaker cup, and “Playoff Run-ning Taco”, a shareable walking taco served in Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
Featured Drinks and Souvenirs
The beverage selection includes the “You Don’t Want This Smoke” cocktail, served in a basketball shoe cup, while draft cups featuring Pistons player images will be available at various locations throughout the arena.
The Pistons’ first playoff game kicks off on April 19 at 6:30 p.m.
