The Mariners’ 40-man roster is now at its maximum capacity of 40 players.
Player Profile: Ortiz
Ortiz, age 26, is set to make his Major League debut. The left-handed pitcher has appeared in 15 games for Triple-A Tacoma, recording a 1.69 ERA (3 earned runs over 16 innings), along with 12 walks and 18 strikeouts, resulting in a 1.25 WHIP. He is currently ranked as the No. 26 prospect in the Mariners organization according to MLB Pipeline.
Player Background: Ortiz
Ortiz was acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers on November 16, 2025, in exchange for minor league pitcher Tyler Gough.
