Super Bowl LXIV to be Held in Nashville
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Super Bowl is coming to Music City.
On Tuesday, the NFL announced that Nashville will host Super Bowl LXIV in 2030 at the new Nissan Stadium. This decision was revealed during the NFL Spring League Meeting in Orlando, following a thorough review by the NFL’s Fan Engagement & Major Events Committee and a vote by team owners.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressed excitement over the announcement, referencing the successful 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville as a memorable fan event. “Super Bowl LXIV at the new stadium is the next step in this remarkable football journey,” he stated, crediting Amy Adams Strunk and the Tennessee Titans for their role in making this event happen.
The Titans organization and the city of Nashville have spent considerable time preparing their proposal to host the Super Bowl. Leading up to the event, Titans President Burke Nihill and Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp President Deana Ivey studied previous successful events in San Francisco to elevate their proposal.
Goodell had previously teased this moment during a ceremony for the new Nissan Stadium, which is set to open in 2027. Super Bowl LXIV will be the first Super Bowl held in Nashville, marking a significant milestone for the city.
Ivey emphasized the importance of hosting the Super Bowl for both Nashville and Tennessee, noting the years of effort to promote Music City as a premier destination for entertainment and events. She highlighted the opportunity to showcase Nashville’s unique culture to a global audience.
Governor Bill Lee also shared his pride regarding Tennessee’s selection, emphasizing how the new stadium will foster tourism and economic growth across the state.
