Prospect Team of the Week Overview
With a rich pool of 900 players ranked in our Top 30 Prospect lists, we have plenty of choices for our weekly Prospect Team highlights. However, some players consistently earn recognition due to their outstanding performances. One such player is Ryan Clifford of the Mets, currently ranked as MLB’s No. 4 1B prospect. This week marks his sixth honor since being selected by the Astros in the 11th round of the 2022 Draft, the highest number among active prospects, although he is still aiming to reach Kyle Tucker’s top mark of 11.
Clifford is not alone in garnering repeated mentions. Other notable players include Athletics outfielder Henry Bolte (three selections), Giants pitcher Joe Whitman (three), and Reds reliever Zach Maxwell (two). Additionally, Andrew Fischer is a name familiar to those tracking the 2025 Draft or the Top 100 Prospects list.
