A brand new Pixel Watch has been launched just in time for the marathon season. Google introduced the Pixel Watch 4 at its annual Made By Google event in New York this past week.
This updated version boasts various enhancements compared to the previous model, including an improved Fitbit experience, updates to Gemini, and a brighter screen. Priced at $350 for the 41mm model and $400 for the 45mm variant, the smartwatch is now available for preorder and is set to ship on October 9.

Reasons to Consider the Pixel Watch 4
1. If you seek enhanced AI capabilities
The Pixel Watch 4 introduces a new level of AI integration with Gemini, improving multiple features of the smartwatch. Previous models saw Gemini in July, but the Pixel Watch 4, equipped with an AI-capable chip, delivers smarter functionalities. The AI on this watch is more pronounced compared to Apple’s more reserved approach.
2. For an advanced health and fitness tracking experience
If fitness tracking is a priority, the revamped Fitbit expected this October makes the Pixel Watch 4 an appealing choice. The upgraded Fitbit Premium will evolve into an AI health coach, personalizing routines based on users’ workout and sleep data.
3. If you prefer a replaceable battery
Introducing a serviceable battery for the first time, the Pixel Watch 4 can be easily replaced. This feature not only prolongs the watch’s lifespan but also contributes to reducing electronic waste.
4. To utilize standalone satellite SOS
Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the Pixel Watch 4’s unique satellite SOS function, powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor. Unlike some models that depend on a phone’s connection, this watch can establish satellite communication independently.
