After his highly publicized divorce from Gisele Bündchen in 2022, the idea of seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady entering the modeling world seemed far-fetched. Yet, he surprised everyone by making his modeling debut with Gucci, following his ex-wife, who has been one of the top-earning models since 2021.
Harper’s BAZAAR shared an Instagram video captioned, “@tombrady looks very #GucciCore tonight,” as Brady strutted down the runway at the Gucci Cruise show in Times Square.
On Saturday night, Brady walked the outdoor runway of the Gucci Cruise 2027 show, dressed in an all-black leather outfit complete with a jacket, pants, and biker boots, under the selection of designer Demna. This marked his first runway appearance, despite appearing effortless.
Alongside Brady, other celebrities like Paris Hilton and Emily Ratajkowski also walked the runway, with supermodel Cindy Crawford closing the show. The front row featured notable guests, including Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Anna Wintour, and Lindsay Lohan.
Although this was his debut on the runway, Brady is no stranger to the modeling industry. He first ventured into modeling with a cover story for GQ and a multi-page spread in VMan Magazine in 2007. Since then, he has worked as a model and brand ambassador for various companies, including Under Armour and UGG Australia.
In 2022, Brady co-founded his own menswear label, BRADY, alongside industry professionals Jens Grede and Dao-Yi Chow. He has been featured prominently in the brand’s athleisure collections and enlisted prominent NCAA athletes for modeling.
Brady’s runway debut received mixed responses from fans. Some were impressed, praising his appearance, while others critiqued his looks and runway walk, with comments comparing him to “The Terminator” and expressing confusion over his diverse post-football pursuits. Regardless of opinions, Brady has successfully embarked on a new adventure at 48.
