ABC will broadcast two North Carolina basketball games, featuring both the men’s and women’s teams. The women’s team, under Coach Courtney Banghart, will face Duke on Sunday, February 15, at 1 p.m. on ABC.
Similarly, the men’s team, coached by Hubert Davis, will be televised when they compete against Syracuse on Saturday, February 21, also at 1 p.m.
The UNC women’s team begins their season with an exhibition game in Atlanta against South Carolina at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, followed by their official season opener against N.C. Central at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 3, at Carmichael Arena.
Meanwhile, the men’s team will participate in a Blue-White scrimmage 60 minutes after the UNC-Clemson football game on Saturday. Additional engagements include a scrimmage at Cherokee on October 18, an exhibition match against BYU in Salt Lake City on October 24, and another exhibition against Winston-Salem State on October 29, before starting their season on November 3 against Central Arkansas at home.
